Even with a camera, you can still get fooled! Grade 2 student praises housekeeper for “making food more delicious than a restaurant”. Mother immediately fires her when she sees the menu photo.

The son praised that the “housewife’s food” was more delicious than a restaurant’s. But when the mother saw the photos of the menu, she discovered an unexpected truth: The housewife did not cook even a single meal!

A story from a Vietnamese woman who said that she and her husband have only one son who is in the second grade of primary school. But because they both work at the family factory, they leave their son at home with the housekeeper, who is about 50 years old. Each week, she or her husband will come home only 3-4 times and keep track of their son’s life through the CCTV cameras installed throughout the house. She is confident that her son is well taken care of, so she has never suspected or wondered about anything.  “My son eats well, sleeps well, and never complains about food. So I have never questioned what is happening even once,” she said.

One day, the mother called her son to tell him that she was going home and invited him to have dinner together. But the boy said in a cheerful tone,  “No need to go, Mom. The food at home is very delicious. The maid cooks for me every day. I like it very much.”  Those words surprised the mother because her son usually preferred to eat out rather than stay at home. So she asked her son to take pictures of the food he ate at each meal and send them to her.

She found that each meal was diverse, looked delicious, and looked luxurious beyond the abilities of an average housewife, such as salmon with sauce on rice, roast duck with sauce, abalone congee, beef on rice, pizza, fried chicken, and fried meatballs. These were all her son’s favorite dishes. But what caught her eye was a picture of a เล่นบาคาร่า UFABET เว็บตรง ค่าคอมสูง plastic bag with the logo of a famous restaurant.  “I couldn’t sit still. I had to look back at the CCTV footage and got the answer… The housewife didn’t cook even one meal!”

“I trust her a lot. I thought she cared about my child’s nutrition. *I never thought she would order food from a restaurant all the time.”  This housewife is able to buy food from a famous restaurant for her child every day because she and her husband never limit their budget. They just give her money whenever the housewife asks, thinking that she will buy ingredients to cook herself. Therefore, even though there are only the housewife and her son at home, the monthly food bill is more than 10 million dong (about 14,500 baht).

The mother also said that she decided to go home and ask him directly and face to face, but the family responded indifferently.

“I never thought that you would buy food from the restaurant for your child to eat every meal.”

“The food at the restaurant is delicious. The kids like to eat it. Why should I be serious?”

“Because I hired you to take care of the child, including food and daily life. I didn’t order food for the child to eat every meal like this!”

The mother also pointed out that the contract clearly stated that the maid must “cook 3 meals a day for the children.” However, the maid argued, “The contract only states that the children must eat 3 meals a day. It doesn’t say that you have to do it yourself. Isn’t it okay if you don’t let them go hungry?”  Upon hearing this, she immediately decided to terminate the contract without paying any compensation.

Processed food is not suitable for children. Eating it often is more dangerous than you think.

Although children like to eat ready-made food or food from famous restaurants, at the same time, the dangers of these foods cannot be overlooked, especially when children eat them regularly every day, which increases the risk of various diseases such as:

Lack of nutrients:  Fast foods are often high in calories but lack the vitamins and minerals necessary for growth.

Risk of obesity, diabetes,  high fat, sugar and sodium in processed foods. If accumulated in children’s bodies, it may cause chronic diseases.

Digestive problems  Children may easily experience bloating, diarrhea, or an allergic reaction to preservatives in these foods.

Unhealthy eating behavior:  Children may be addicted to spicy food, like unhealthy food, and refuse to eat food at home.

Risk of food-borne infections  If food is not stored at the right temperature, it can become a breeding ground for germs that are dangerous to children’s health.

The story of the mother above is an important lesson for modern parents who have to work outside the home. Don’t trust anyone to take care of your children too much. *Don’t think that if your child doesn’t complain, everything is fine. Don’t overlook your child’s nutrition and eating behavior because in the end. The most important thing is not convenience. But “the health and safety of your child.”
